KLARION #1 by Jemma Salume

Jemma Salume is awesome. There's some art on her Livejournal. This bio was written by the editor, and he's clearly not very good at this.

Jemma says: My cover's based on a painting (below) called "Souls on the Banks of the Acheron" by Adolf Hiremy-Hirschl.

Klarion the Witch-Boy was created by Jack Kirby. Read more ...

  1. Oh, wow! Beautiful work, Jemma! Would so read this.

  2. Klarion is one of my least favorite of Kirby's creations and one of my least favorite characters, period.
Having said so, I would be RACING to the store every week this book by this artist was released.

  3. Very nice cover/homage. With art like that, how could I not want to read what I would already read based on the Seven Soldiers connection?

Would read? That's what I've been trying to tell you!

  4. This is gorgeous, Jemma. I'd love to be reading this every month.

  5. Beautiful cover and a great homage, well done Jemma!

  6. Amazing, really dig this one^^
